Conditions of hire

There are specific conditions of hire for our chauffeur driven vehicles. See below.



GENERAL CONDITIONS
Signing this document means the general conditions have been unreservedly accepted
For all bookings, a minimum deposit of 50% of the total amount will be required.
The balance will be paid one week before the service is provided.

Should the client withdraw:
- More than one week prior to the planned date of the service: the deposit paid is a fixed indemnity and will under no circumstances be reimbursed, whatever the reason for withdrawal.
- Less than one week prior to the planned date of the service: the cost of the service will be payable in full.

Should Mariani Limousines withdraw:
-The deposit will be reimbursed in full

Any additional hours and / or kilometres will be payable in full at the end of the service provision.

The package includes:
- a vehicle in good working order
- welcome on arrival and assistance on departure (port and airport)
- 30 kg luggage allowance per person
- 24/7 telephone assistance
- professional liability insurance covering passengers
- kilometres as per the quotation, starting from and returning to the garage
- any options established with the client

The package does not include:
Toll and car parking fees not initially provided for in the service provision
Entrance fees to public places
Vehicles are hired for a particular service, therefore, allowing for exceptional circumstances, we do not make any journey other than that agreed.
Should the rental agency be unable to make the vehicle provided for in the contract available, the deposit will be reimbursed in full, unless the two parties agree on the use of another vehicle.
Should it be impossible to keep the first appointment with the vehicle, the deposit will be reimbursed in full without recourse or indemnity for any prejudice that may be caused.

Night rates (from 20.00 to 08.00) are 20% higher

Should the vehicle become unavailable during service as a result of a breakdown, the cost of the service provided will be calculated pro rata to the time spent without recourse or indemnity for any prejudice that may be caused.
The vehicles, unless otherwise specified, have a capacity of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 small children.
Times, journeys and decorations should be confirmed within 72 hours of the planned date.
Smoking is prohibited in our vehicles.
Doors must be opened and closed with care.
Should the internal fittings be damaged or should any other damage be inflicted on the vehicle or on other vehicles, for example when suddenly opening a door, the damage caused will be at the client’s expense. We would be grateful if you would allow the chauffeur to open and close the doors.

We are not responsible for any valuables that may be left in the vehicle.
As chauffeurs are liable during the vehicle hire period, they are advised to follow the highway code.
Any exterior decoration of the vehicle, other than that initially provided for in the contract, will be subject to our agreement.

For promotional purposes, Mariani Limousines reserves the right to photograph the vehicles in service. Should chauffeurs notice clients committing an offence, for example using drugs, they are under strict orders to stop the service underway immediately. This stoppage will under no circumstances give any rights to reimbursement of payment made for the service.
No animals will be accepted in our vehicles unless in a cage or a special sealed container.

Should there be a dispute with regard to the interpretation or execution of the present document, the only competent court will be the Tribunal de Commerce in Bastia.
